Projects Completed:

    • Improving Library's Public Services: External Service vs Internal Service:
This project is based on the premise that there are many common factors (be it about externally accessed or internally accessed). Here we dealt with first, access to resources, second on-site and off-site demands and third, ways to maximize the use of graphic records. We based our comparative study on various dimensions of service quality, including, technology, organizational structure, user needs, library services & products, customer services, staff training, infrastructure, etc. At a specific point we were focused on collection (print vs. digital), circulation (lending vs. ILL), reference (virtual vs. desk-based)
Our team of specialists identified the information needs (potential and actual) and analyzed how well these are met by way of external and internal functionalities. Our analysis was extended and expanded to include the assessment of the set procedures and re-engineering of information management and delivery processes.
